You agree to use Doppelganger.world only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload photos of other individuals without their explicit consent.
- Use the Platform to harass, stalk, or identify individuals without permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or database.
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates third-party rights.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Platform.
- Circumvent any security measures or access controls.
3. Accounts & Authentication
Some features require signing in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at contact@doppelganger.world.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User-Submitted Content
By uploading a photo or submitting content to Doppelganger.world, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, process, display, and compare that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform's matching features.
You represent that:
- You own the rights to the photo or have consent from the person depicted.
- The content does not violate any applicable law.
- The content is not pornographic, violent, or designed to harm others.
We do not claim ownership of your photos. You can request deletion at any time.
5. Intellectual Property
All Platform content — including the Doppelganger.world name, logo, AI algorithms, website design, and written content — is the intellectual property of Doppelganger.world or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
6. Bounties & Rewards
Bounty rewards are set by individual users and are not guaranteed or underwritten by Doppelganger.world. We facilitate the connection between bounty posters and claimants but bear no financial liability for unpaid or disputed rewards. All bounty transactions are between the posting user and the claimant.
Fraudulent bounty submissions will result in immediate account termination.
7. Advertising
Doppelganger.world displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and potentially other ad networks. Ad content is not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or quality of third-party advertisements. Clicking ads may take you to third-party websites governed by their own terms.
8. Privacy & Data
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or accuracy of matching results. AI-generated look-alike matches are approximate and for entertainment/research purposes only.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Doppelganger.world and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed USD $100 in any twelve-month period.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all licences granted to you will immediately cease.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
